Disha Bethany Hostel was inaugurated on 28th July 2006. The then Provincial Superior Sr Maria Leena inaugurated the hostel. The hostel was opened to equip the Catholic Girls with skills like NTT (Nursery Teachers Training), Beauty Culture, Secretarial Course, Tailoring and Embroidery and the Computer Education. The hostel began with 14 girls.
The girls are given Christian Education, good night talks are taken regularly, they are also given opportunities to increase their self esteem and developed their self confidence. Every month recollection is conducted and they are helped for the reception of the sacraments especially of Reconciliation. They participate in the Eucharist daily.
The hostel girls belong to different Dioceses like, Delhi, Agra, Ranchi, Jalandhar, Meerut etc. There is life in these girls and they are exposed to other works as well. They are personally guided and as and when required they are counseled too.
This year we have 13 hostel girls and 5 girls in PG. PG girls stay here as they go out for their working places.
