Sep 21: On 15 September 2018 six teachers including Sr Rosia, the Principal from Bethany School, Guwahati set out to attend the Science Seminar which was organized by the Northeast Science Movement a part of the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) in Vivekanandan Kendra Institute of Culture Guwahati. The objective of our team was to get ourselves acquainted with the present Scientific Temper, so that we can train and motivate the young minds of our students to pursue in their scientific skill as they had just exhibited their talents and interest in the most recent Science exhibition in our school.
VVM is a National program for educating and popularizing Science among students of VI to XI standards. It also endeavours to identify the bright minds among the student community, who are keen on subjects related to science.
Having enlightened by the organizing team, we the participants were motivated to inculcate the same in the little minds, the use of science in the modern world. Being enthused, all the members felt that it is the need of the hour to inspire and ignite the minds of students to take part in these types of competitions.
