Sep 29: 29th September 2018 was a great day and long awaited day for Bethany Sisters in Tanzania. The Bethany Girls’ Sec. School Mwanga had organized a graduation day for Form Four students who would be graduated soon. It was a 2nd graduation for this school. The programme was well organized and appreciated too.
The day commenced with Holy Eucharist at 9.15am by the Parish Priest, Rev Fr Gregory OFM Conv and Rev Fr. Bernard the Financial Administrator of the Diocese. Sisters, teachers, students and parents participated in the Liturgy. It was beautiful sight to see the students singing hymns with whole heart and mind and with rhythmic movements.
The cultural programme added glamour to the whole ceremony. Sr Antonette Coutinho BS the Delegation Superior of Tanzania and the Manager of the School presided over the programme. Mr Charles Pambe the Water Engineer of the District was the Chief Guest, Mr William Nkuna the Bank Manager was the Guest of Honour. Fr Bernard the Financial Administrator of the Diocese represented the Bishop of the Diocese. All these dignitaries ignited the young minds, who were exhuberant and enthusiastic.
Kudos! to Sr Anitha Menezes the Headmistress, the sister-teachers and the staff for their untiring work. The programme successfully came to an end with a sumptuous meal.
