Jan 26: “Gratitude is the song we sing on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Day”. The academic year 2018-19, has been truly a rewarding year, each day having its new spice and flavor to savour. It’s a year of Jubilation, achievements and exuberant activity.
St. Michael’s Convent High School was started in the year 1969, on 14th of June by Late Rev Fr Joseph Koimma, with the aim of imparting quality education to the children of, Ambewadi and its surrounding villages. The prestige of this school has been maintained by the Bethany Educational Society under the leadership of Sisters Biana, Sr Philomene, and presently Sr Renita. We celebrate God’s plentiful graces and blessings showered upon our Institute for 50 years of educational excellence.
On 15th December 2018 the Golden Jubilee of the School and Silver Jubilee of Bethany Convent Ambewadi was solemnly celebrated. Most Rev Dr Derik Fernandes Bishop of Karwar Diocese offered the Eucharistic Celebration on the occasion. The colossal cultural programme was presided by Rev Sr Dr Mariette BS the Secretary of Bethany Educational Society, Mangalore. She enthused the spirit of hard labor, dedication and commitment, for the excellent work of the staff, by her positive note.
