August 16: To develop and evoke key character traits including integrity, humility, commitment, spiritual perspective and compassion an orientation program was organized on 3rd August 2019 for Class IV Employees of the school by Sr Helima and her team members Fr Sandeep and Mrs Vandana Batra along with the guidance of our reverent principal, Sr Ophilia Lobo.
Sr Helima acquainted the workers about the role and importance of the core values in their life as they are an integral part of the Bethany Institution. She explained that through the act of experiencing God we can cherish the values of kindness, humility and forgiveness. Sr Helima enlightened the workers about Father founder, who had devoted his whole life serving the poor and marginalized specially the girl child and motivated the workers to follow his footsteps by loving all equally irrespective of caste, creed, region or religion. The workers were transfixed by the videos and meaningful examples given by her.
Fr Sandeep instilled the value of ‘team work and dignity of labour through an activity.
Mrs Vandana Batra took the session forward by explaining golden values of life-truth, love and justice and elucidated that pleasure derived from the falsehood is temporal.
