August 16: The 73rd Independence Day was celebrated at St Theresa’s School, Bendur. Mrs Cleta Lobo the Chief Guest, the senior teacher of St Theresa’s School, hoisted the National Flag.
The Chief Guest in her message stressed on “The opportunity floating on the sea of excellence for the youth of today to build our country”. Samson Salins student of Class VIII infused the spirit of Patriotism through the speech.
The Principal Sr Philomene Saldanha, Vice Principal Sr Lourdes, parents, staff and students were present to show their love and respect for our motherland India. The students of offered special prayers for the flood victims of Karnataka and Kerala.
