Jan 30: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know Peace”
30th January 2017 was indeed a great day for St. Michael’s High School Ambewadi, Dandeli. Peace surrounded the whole campus as we celebrated Peace day of India. Children dressed in colourful and attractive dress code filled the atmosphere awaiting to move & dame with rhythmic steps and exhibit their talents with beautiful Lazims, Creative Dumbles and Attractive Hoops.
The flame of fire which symbolizes Peace and Harmony was taken round the campus by the Group leaders and the respected guests raised the flame to the height to spread the message of Peace. Honourable Guests, supportive parents and our active students joined to spread the message of peace, taking the pledge and pronounced ‘Prayer for Peace’ with lit candles.
Martyrs were honoured; ‘give your best to others and your motherland’ was the centre focus of the day. Homage to the great martyrs drew our devotional respect as we garlanded the portrait of Mahatma
Gandhi- the Father of the Nation.
