June12: “Leaders are not born but are made by their experience in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, oath taking ceremony of the School Cabinet was performed on 12.06.2017.
The propitious day began with a prayer song followed by the welcome speech. The beginning of the institute ceremony and the present cabinet members along with their junior section marched brightly and majestically. The oath taking ceremony was inaugurated by Sr Shanthi the Headmistress, SPL Miss Kripa, ASPL Kenneth, Secretary Sonali, speaker Deepak and opposition leader by lighting the diya as a sign of brightness.
Thereafter Headmistress Sr Shanthi administered the oath taking ceremony. The student council took pledge to hold high the school motto “service with love”, after which Sr Shanthi gave a clarion call to every member to be exemplary to other students and to serve well, balancing between the academics and other activities.
At the end SPL Kripa proposed vote of thanks. Thus the programme came to an end with the School anthem “Salute do we all O Mother Maryvale”.
