Jan 04: Genius is when an idea and the execution of that idea are simultaneous – Albert Einstein. True to this saying students of Bethany School, Sulantu, West Bengal were provided an opportunity to transform their theoretical knowledge in to practical skill on 9 December 2017. Articles made by students from Nursery to class X were on display. Exhibition explored the interconnectedness between science and art and consisted of models produced during the course of scientific inquiry that have aesthetic merit.

Science exhibition included working and still models displayed in a large room. Class 6 students prepared a model of Stadium using one entire room. Class IX students who had greater fascination for the heavenly bodies displayed the wonders of Galaxy. Haunted House, Peace Education, Reviving the Bengali Culture were the other themes highlighted through their display. Science models also included some eco friendly models like solar bottle light, Eco Cooler etc.

Art and Craft exhibition included drawings, paintings, clay models, vegetable and fruit carvings etc. Bethany Non- Formal school students were also provided an opportunity to display their painting and art. The exhibition was held to provide a platform for children to develop their scientific temper, creativity, investigative skills and talents. Parents and visitors were invited to motivate our student’s venture and they gave a positive feedback on the same.
