Divya Jyothi Hostel for children was started in 2007. As the strength of the school was on decline the need was felt to open a hostel to accommodate children who desired quality education. A request was also made by the parents from nearby parishes to keep their children in the boarding. This new facility encouraged many children from distant estates and villages to attend school easily. Children are admitted to the hostel irrespective of caste and creed.
The hostel provides them with good atmosphere to live in peace and harmony. Value education is imparted and the faith formation of Catholic children is taken care. An opportunity to attend daily mass and sacraments is availed. After the class hours in the evening, yoga classes are organized and good night talks are arranged daily. The hostel warden taken keen interest in the growth of children and she meets them individually. The hostel facility is made use by the less privileged of the society. Currently, Sr Margaret is the Warden of the Hostel.
