NCC at Sacred Heart Convent School has become a justified synonym for learning, adaptation, endurance and accomplishment. On 12 June 2016, the day that I had the privilege to attend the NCC camp was a highly enriching experience, besides being studded with a windfall of accolades and medals. There were moments of trials and tribulations as well as euphoric exultation. However, as the universally acclaimed adage goes, “Nothing succeeds like success”. The reward of our efforts that came in the form of 2 medals in all, along with a trophy for our school, actually gained a stark recognition among 450 cadets from across Punjab. It was a proud moment for me when it was publicly declared that I happened to be the youngest and the only recipient of four Gold medals and two bronze medals. It is a beginning of a new journey which initiated only due to the opportunity bestowed upon me by our worthy principal Sr Reshmi.
