August 21: The Income Tax Department of Ludhiana took up a very noble initiative of wishing the Indian Soldiers on the occasion of Independence Day by sending those greeting cards and rakhis. The students from iii-xii came forward with a lot of enthusiasm and patriotic fervor and contributed for this noble cause. About 700 greeting cards with very beautiful messages written by the students and around 800-1000 rakhis were packed in boxes and handed over to Mr. Vikas Sood,Iincome Tax Officer, Ludhiana. He thanked each and every student and assured that all of the cards and rakhis will be sent to the soldiers posted at various inhospitable terrains by helicopters etc.
