‘We are finding New Magicians of Science as we step ahead to the New Sunrise.’
Feb 28: The students of Bethany Convent School, Ushamahatu, had Science Exhibition on 16th November 2019. The Chief Guest was Mrs.Geetha Bhagat, the Mukhya. The students took part with full of energy and enthusiasm. The models were of Water Cycle, Bacterial Cell, respiratory System, Double Circulation of Blood, Electronic Configuration. The parents witnessed the creative work of their wards guided by their subject teachers.
On 24th of January, the students were taken for study tour to Varahamihira (Taramandal) Planetarium, Ranchi at Chiraundi, Kanka. The Planetarium has a theatre, having 15meter diameter projection dome and equipped with Zeiss ZKP4 star projection .It is Opto-Mechanical and Digital Projection System for projecting the Starry and Astronomical Motions. This facility is created to facilitate class room lecture on astronomy, sky watch and other round the year astronomy related activities. The students were infused a new energy and motivated them to move forward in the field of astronomical learning.
