Nov 21: Scholastic and co scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programme for the all-round development of the child. Keeping this in view, we Stella Maris Convent School, Sultanpur conducted the Fancy Dress Competition on the occasion of Children’s day for the children of Classes K.G. - V. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students.
Children dressed up in their colorful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable.
Students displayed their talents on the theme ‘Community Helpers’. They dressed up as Jawaharlal Nehru, Fr. Founder, Engineer, Doctor, Policeman, Teacher etc. and emphasized upon their need and importance in making our lives easier.
The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.
