Feb : It is a day of National Festival rejoicing and a red- letter day in our country. The day was celebrated with Zeal and spirit, throughout the length and breadth of the country. The 72nd Republic day was celebrated on Jan. 26 at the school premises of Bethany school, Bajpe. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating at the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
The event began at 8.45am. The chief guest for the day was Mrs Rosy Mathias President of Grama Panchayat, PTA Vice President, Headmistresses, Staff and students. Mrs. Serina took up the duty of gracing the day started by the prayer song Vande Matharam, and welcome by Mrs. Teena. The Chief Guest hoisted the National Flag with great respect. The inspiring patriotic song sung by the students, followed by stirring speeches by the students and teacher. The chief guest in her address highlighted the significance of the day, and made the children aware that the future of their country lies in their hands. Finally vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Geetha. The students dispersed with the image of the fluttering tricolor in their minds and hearts. May we continue celebrating this day forever.
