March 30: St Joseph’s High School, Kankanady was privileged to have the official visit of Rev Sr Mariette BS, Secretary of Bethany Educational Society ® Mangalore along with Sr Rose Lyta BS the Treasurer of BES and Sr Anitha Shanthi BS the Correspondent of our school on 5 March 2021. She was welcomed by Arathi, flowers and school band. A short cultural programme was put up, which includes prayer service, welcome dance, English skit- ‘Quality of Mercy’, Kannada skit – “Corona Gellona”. As the Bethany Congregation celebrated Centenary year the honourable guests paid the floral tributes to our founder Msgr. RFC Mascarenhas. The president of the programme Rev Sr Mariette BS addressed the gathering. Beside education, moral values should be inculcated in our lives later she met the staff personally. She interacted with VIII, IX and X Std students and motivated the SSLC students for 100% result in SSLC 2021. Later she appreciated and interacted with the staff and congratulated them for their self less service and endeavours. She encouraged them to keep up their efforts and to bear more fruits in the years to come.
