June 21: To commemorate the International Earth Day 2021, the students of Sacred Heart Convent School participated in various online activities designed to educate them on the need to conserve the resources of the earth. They were asked to narrate short interesting stories on the theme- Restore the Earth. The story session began with a special assembly and a story narration by the class teacher followed by enticing stories spun by the students. They used several props like flash cards, placards, stick figures, hand puppets, masks, banners and posters while spinning creative and inspirational stories. The tales carried morals that sensitized their classmates to develop compassion towards the Earth and its resources.An informative video on the history and importance of Earth Day was also circulated among the students.
