Dec 08: With an objective to create and educate children about the importance and consumption of vegetables in their regular diet, a vegetable market was set up by Pre -Primary students of Mulki on 01-12-2021.
Children brought different kinds of vegetables from their home. Teachers encouraged children to have vegetables in their meals. They also explained the importance of vegetables intake in diet for mental and physical growth. The tiny tots also learned more about the taste, smell, color and texture of each vegetable and identifying the different types of vegetables. Teachers and students were invited to buy vegetables and the students talked about different vegetables.
Both the teachers and children were excited and enjoyed the day to the fullest.
Thus activity inculcated the feeling of gratitude towards our Farmers & community helpers!!!
