Sep 27: Like every year, this year also the school celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September with lots of appreciation and gratitude towards the teachers. The event was organized to acknowledge their total dedication and selfless service. The hall was beautifully decorated with flowers, balloon and festoons. The event commenced at 10:00 AM by invoking the mighty presence of God with us. The students of class XI and XII sang a greetings song after which Teachers were honoured with bouquet of fresh flowers and a loving memento. The school captain delivered a speech on the bright occasion giving importance of the role of teachers in the life of students, as builders of human beings builders of society and nation at large. The students presented various cultural activities like dances, songs, poems, drama to express their gratitude to the teachers. The principal of the school congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts to impact knowlege, loving and caring attitude on the students of this rural area. She gave an inspiring speech on Dr S Radhakrishnan and explained why we should celebrate teachers’ day. The students also arranged some fun games for the teachers to entertain and help them feel relaxed and enjoy the day with their students. All the teachers enjoyed and appreciated the students individually for their sincere gratitude and sense of appreciation towards their teachers. The day’s program, enjoyment, fun and frolic ended with a formal vote of thanks followed by School Anthem. The students mouth was sweetened by sweets and teachers The teachers felt elated and recognized and left the school with a note of great joy for choosing to be a teacher as their life’s mission and purpose in their life.
