Oct 26: Every Diya that lights up the world fills every heart with joy. The festival of lights was celebrated at Bethany School, Mulki on October 22nd with a meaningful prayer invoking the blessings of almighty God, the source and origin of light.
The programme commenced with lighting the Diya by Sr Rita Sharal, the Headmistress which evoked a sense of joy and fervor in everyone. Students presented an insightful assembly depicting victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair.
The students of class 1st and 3rd presented colorful rangoli, rythmatical dances and melodious songs with great enthusiasm. They spoke about the significance of the festival - how good always conquered the evil and also about why and how Diwali is celebrated across India.
The Headmistress Sr Rita Sharal applauded the students for putting up a beautiful and colourful programme. The entire presentation filled the hearts of all students and teachers with the spirit of Diwali and they enjoyed the celebrations wholeheartedly.
