Nov 03: Annual Sports meet program began by welcoming our Chief Guest Shri Umanath Kotian MLA, Mulki Moodabidri constituency, was honored by school band set team. Guard of honor was paved by Eight groups who rhythmically marched to the tone of band set.
Later chief guest along with all the members hoisted the sports flag. The most awaited moment of today’s event, the Olympic torch was lit by the achievers of our school and college who participated in various district level sports meet during the year. The program was followed by welcoming the guest and lightning the lamp. Later sports minister along with all the squad leaders took an oath saying they will be true and follow all the rules and regulations and maintain a healthy sportsmanship. The program was inaugurated by lightning the sky lantern as symbol inviting each student to aim high in their life.
Chief Guest addressed the gathering by spreading the value of sports and it’s importance which help an individual to lead a better life. Presidential address was delivered by Sr Marielyta the Correspondent and wished well for the students. Chief Guest was honored by shawl and garland as a token of love and respect.
The program was compeered by Mr. Abhishek Poojary, Ms. Jyothsna welcomed the gathering, March -past commentary was given by Mr.Vishanth Shetty, Ms Deeksha and finally the program was concluded by vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Anusha.
