Dec 03: Indian Constitution Week was observed from November 19th to 26th November 2022 at Gulabi Girls’ High School Jayamahal Extension, Bangalore. We organized varieties of competitions to create awareness on the rights and duties of Indian citizens. The students showcased their talents by participating in various competitions such as speech, quiz, rangoli, patrotic singing and dance.

The Electoral Literacy Club of Gulabi Girls’ High School Jayamahal Extension, Bangalore held a meaningful celebration on 26th November 2022. This programme was presided by Sr. Cynthia Pais B S, the Headmistress and Sr Jyothi Mary B S, the advocate as chief guest. In her presidential address sister stressed on the importance of the vitality of the Indian Constitution, the rights we enjoy and also the violations. She also enlightened students on how they could be in civil services to uphold the constitution and to build a country with all the provisions mentioned in constitutions by being just judges, sincere politicians and various other posts like administrative services. Sr. Jyothi Mary, the chief guest enlightened the students on the rights of women and children. All present pronounced the words of the Preamble ‘We the People of India with respect and honour.
