Dec 03: Holy Cross Convent School, Dharmanagar celebrated Parents’ Day at the main town hall in Dharmanagar which was held on 12th November, 2022. A significant number of religious sisters, Rav. Fathers, staff members, students, parents, and well-wishers attended the grand celebration. School’s students’ band preceded the dignitaries, President Sr Lucious BS the Provincial Superior and the Corporate Manager of Silchar Province, Guests of Honour Sr Clara Mendonca, the Asst.Provincial Superior of Silchar Province, Sr Harsha BS the Provincial Councillor and Co-ordinator for Education, Mr. Samir Nath OSD Education Department, Dharmanagar, IS Mr. Haran Ch. Sen Education Department, Dharmanagar and all the special invitees to Vivekananda Shradha Shatabarshiki Bhawan, the main town hall, Dharmanagar.The programme began with an astounding invocation dance during which audience sensed the presence of God. Sr Pushpa, the Principal, graciously welcomed the dignitaries with lovely sapling during the stage programme. Every single event that the students participated was based on seven core values of Bethany Educational Society. Parents had been extremely emotional throughout those occasions that were held in their honour.
Students staged varieties of events expressing the values they learnt in the school besides the academics. It was a sentilating experience for the audience. Sr. Lucious in her presidential address highlighted the growth of the institution and the value based education that BES offers. Officials from the Education Department appreciated the contribution made by the Management and Staff in educating the young minds. They were full of praise for the excellent performance of the students.
Parents who witnessed the talents of the students were spellbound. At the end Sr. Margateth Lalthlamuani the Vice Principal thanked everyone who became an instrumental in making the event a grand success. Thus the event ended with a beautiful message through a Tableau He raised me up”
