Feb 24: On February 10, 2023 the UKG Students of St. Theresa's School joyfully celebrated their Annual Day “Theresian Sparking Stars”
As the special guest in attendance, Dr Tina Mendonca presided over the programme. Along with the parents of the young children, additional officials including the school Correspondent, Sr Shaila, the Principal, Sr Lourdes, and the Vice Principal Sr Caron were present to witness the day's event. The heartfelt prayer service to ask for the Almighty's blessing on the audience marked the start of the programme. The enthusiastic kids then performed a welcome dance. The students gave the dignitaries a sapling to greet them.
The pupils presented a cultural programme. Astounding performances of cultural dance and folk dance by the young UKG students, who dazzled the audience with their multi-coloured costumes, captivated the audience. With assurance and ease, the youngsters performed a skit on "Community Helpers," which was well-received by the dignitaries and parents. The students' big conclusion, which emphasised the need to save the environment, was a lovely lesson to take home. The students' enthusiasm was palpable, and each and every one of them contributed significantly to the performance. Every single parent was beaming with joy as they left the event, and they all had pleased looks in their eyes.
The programme ended with National Anthem.
