March 10: On 3rd February 2023 Holy Cross Convent School, Dharmanagar organized the Science, Art and Craft exhibition in its premises to encourage the Scientific Temper among students and also to provide them a platform to execute their creativity. Students from Nursery to Class X participated in this great event with much enthusiasm and zeal.
Rev. Sr. Gretta B.S, Local Manager of the School was the Chief Guest. Sr. Christine D’Souza Headmistress Holy cross Higher Secondary School Kathalcherra was the special Guest. Presence of the School Managing Committee members, Parents, students from neighboring schools added glamour to the event. Students put up a beautiful cultural programme to mark the event. The Chief Guest in her address emphasized on nurturing the creative mind and touched a chord in every heart through her motivational message.
The teachers of the school executed their artistic talent through making a replica of BES Head quarters under the guidance and inspiration of Sr. Pushpa, the Principal which was the special focus for inauguration. Before the replica the lamp was lit with a prayer to the Founder to keep the flame of knowledge burning. The event was dedicated to the platinum Jubilee of BES.
Models prepared by students on various subjects drew the attention of everyone. The exhibition witnessed a huge crowd. Effervescence overflowed among students, parents, teachers and Management.
