June 30: Investiture Ceremony of Sacred Hearts’ Higher Primary (Eng. Med) School, for the Academic year 2023-2024 and the Inauguration of clubs are the two important events celebrated on 12th of June. Rev. Sr Marie Lyta, the correspondent, presided over the ceremony.
The programme commenced by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song followed by lighting the diya. The elected leaders marched towards the dias and were conferred with sashes by the correspondent. Lighting the candles of the elected leaders and the oath taking ceremony was led by Sr Anitha Nathalia, the Headmistress. SPL Adrin Jyothi on behalf of the cabinet in her speech assured that they will work hard and uphold the honour and glory of the institution.
The different clubs namely Literature, Science and Eco, Sports, Konkani, Art and Craft, Cubs, Bulbuls, Scouts and Guides were inaugurated. The leaders of the respective clubs came forward and introduced their clubs.
Adithya of Grade VII welcomed the gathering and Rebecca D Souza Grade VII proposed vote of thanks.
