July 26: Sacred Hearts’ Hr Pry Eng Med School, Kulshekar celebrated Vanamahotsava on 12th July 2023. Sir Vincent, former Assistant Teacher graced the occasion as the chief guest. A short programme was organized by the students which included meaningful skit, song and dance that highlighted on the theme ‘Save Trees, Save Earth’. The students gave a short speech on the importance of trees for humankind. Along with this ‘Little way Association’ was inaugurated by bursting the balloons by the Headmistress, in charge teachers and the club members. After the inauguration chief guest delivered a speech to the students about the importance of planting the sapling and to greet one another on special occasion by gifting them with saplings.
Under the guidance of Sr Anitha, the Headmistress, the chief guest, teachers and the students made their way to the school premises and planted the sapling. Everyone participated enthusiastically and the day was very enjoyable.
The Bethany florets of St Therese offered themselves symbolically in the form of flower to the patronage of St Therese after which the Headmistress offered badges to the members
