Youth and Agriculture: Seeding the movement to reimagine the agriculture

August 5: The report on agricultural field visit arranged for the students of Madeleine Pre-university College Mulki, Kilpady. The students were taken to the paddy field of Ivan Mendonca Muchuru Curchila at Mr Ivan Mendonca demonstration about the cultivation, to make the students aware of farming. They were given information about the planting of coconut plants and the nutrition and planting methods. Students celebrated by planting paddy saplings. On this occasion, Sr Veena D'Souza the Principal, lecturers Vishant Shetty,Vanishree, Anusha were present. The visit came to a close the by giving memento as a token of love to Ivan Mendonca for giving this opportunity to the students to know about the importance of agriculture.
