Sep 22: The entire Sacred Hearts’ campus joined together with great zeal and happiness to celebrate the closing ceremony of Bethany Platinum Jubilee on Wednesday, 23rd August. To commemorate this event the Thanksgiving Mass was offered in honour of Father Founder. Entire Sacred Hearts’ faculty members and students participated. After the Eucharistic celebration a beautiful programme was organized by the students of grade 7 depicting the Life story of Father Founder R F C Mascarenhas.
The President of the day Rev. Sr Shubha, the Educational Coordinator of Mangaluru Province addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of Bethany core values. By strewing flowers to the portrait of Fr Founder symbolically, lit the candles which was passed on to all the faculty members by the President of the day to mark the event and to carry out Fr Founder’s mission by working hand in hand. Sr Sharlet, the School Counsellor by addressing the gathering shared her views through Father Founder’s life examples and motivated each and everyone to follow his foot steps. Thus by singing Bethany Anthem, ceremony came to an end.
