St. Theresa's school Bendur, Mangaluru celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava which is also known as Karnataka Formation Day on 31st October 2023.
Nov 02: The program began with a prayer session. Students showcased their love for their beloved state, Karnataka by enthusiastically participating in dance and singing. Students spoke about the rich cultural heritage of the state. Teachers also joined their voices in singing and expressed their love and patriotism towards Karnataka. The songs and the dance performance by students made the audience feel energetic and proud of being Kannadigas.The program generated a sense of pride in the minds of the students for being a part of a culture that is so rich and vibrant. The School Principal addressed the students to love and respect their mother tongue, learn it to its perfection and not to forget their state language in their life. The assembly concluded with singing the State Anthem ‘Jai Bharata Jananiya Tanujathe.’ The celebration truly captured the spirit of the day.
