Feb 22: It is rightly said and proven at St. Theresa’s Convent School, Karnal under the dynamic and strong leadership of Sr. Priya Therese, as the Principal. To dispel the indecisiveness encircling the CBSE board examination of X and XII, CBSE Regional Officer and Joint Secretary make it a point to address all under one canopy and this year it was done grandly at St. Theresa’s.
The Annual Meeting of all the CBSE affiliated schools of Karnal District with their Principals and Centre Heads attended a very significant talk cum meeting on CBSE Board Examination and Evaluation 2023 - 2024 at St. Theresa’s Auditorium on February 10, 2024 from 03.00 to 05:00 pm. In this remarkable meeting, Shri Vijay Yadav, the Regional Officer, CBSE Panchkula and Shri J.K. Jain, Deputy Secretary, I.T. Regional Office, CBSE Panchkula were the chair persons. The CBSE City Co-ordinator, Dr. Rajan Lamba and other office bearers were also present at this momentous occasion.
Sr Priya Therese, the Principal greeted the honourable guests with the bouquet of flowers and welcome speech which was well received by the entire gathering.
At the outset, Dr Rajan Lamba the City Coordinator and Shri J.K. Jain, Deputy Secretary addressed the Galaxy of Administrators, Educationists and Intellectuals hailing from about 180 different CBSE affiliated schools of the district. As the meeting was headed by the CBSE officials of the top rank, many centre heads also made it a point to attend it.
Towards the end, Shri Vijay Yadav, the Regional Officer the keynote speaker also addressed the meeting, clearing the doubts and anxious ambiguities concerned with the board examination and evaluation of the session. It was followed by vote of thanks presented by Mrs Poonam Navet, the Principal and Director of Pratap Public Schools, Karnal. The total number of attendees was staggeringly near 250 and all were ears to the minutes of the meeting as it was at the educational - cusp for the outgoing batch of students to various colleges and universities at national and international levels. The meeting ended with the high tea.
