June 10: Water Conservation Day, is celebrated annually on May 31st, to raise the awareness about the importance of preserving and managing our water resources.

St. Francis of Assisi High School Mamit observed this day with various activities like painting, Drawing, Essay, Poetry and slogan writing competitions according to each ones talents.

These activities are aimed to inspire creativity and spread the message of water conservation among participants and the wider community.

On this day, Presided by our Headmistress all the students including the teachers as well as the non-teaching staff took a pledge to conserve the water.

The Headmistress Sister Sylvia gave a speech on the importance of conserving water. This day was a resounding success for our school, with enthusiastic participation across all age groups. The painting, essay, poetry and slogan writing competitions not only highlighted the importance of water conservation but also fostered a sense of community and shared responsibility.

The creativity and thoughtfulness demonstrated by participants have undoubtedly contributed to spread the crucial message of water conservation, inspiring others to take action in their daily lives.
