Oct 22: The Presentation Convent LHPEM (CBSE) School in Dharwad started in 2016 with just 109 students. As the school grew, a foundation stone was laid for a new building in 2022, showing the commitment of the sisters involved.
On October 7th 2024 at 10.00 am, the much-anticipated inauguration of the school building took place, marking a significant milestone for the community. The sun shone brightly and the new building decoration welcomed all of them with warmth of love.
The ceremony began with a prayer service to seek blessings, followed by lighting a lamp and a welcome dance. Rev. Sr. M Sally BS, the Provincial Superior and Corporate Manager of Western Province, opened the building by cutting the ribbon and unveiling the plaque. Msgr. Philip kutty Joseph, Vicar General of the Belgaum Diocese, blessed the building and prayed for its success.
Many important guests attended, including Mr. Ashok S. Sindagi, the Block Education Officer of Dharwad city, Rev. Fr. Fedilino, Parish Priest of Holy Cross Church, Dharwad, Sr. M Archana BS, Superior of Presentation Convent, Sr. M Pierine BS, Education Coordinator of the Western Province, and Engineer Mr. Rajesh Jadhav. The event honored everyone who helped the school grow, including the dignitaries, engineers, and construction workers who worked hard to complete the building. The program ended with a vote of thanks and the singing of the National Anthem, celebrating a new beginning for everyone involved. Special thanks were given to BES Mangalore, BES Western Province, and all those who supported the completion of the building.
This inauguration not only represents the school’s growth but also reflects the community’s commitment to providing quality education.
