Nov 19: On 19 November 2016 Scouts and Guides was inaugurated at Loyola Primary School, Gadag. There were 52 students trained by Scouts captain Mr Joseph Zalki and Guides Captain Mrs Elizabeth R Ronad. On this day, Shri. A S Shivakumar the Assistant State Organizing Commissioner was the Chief guest and Shri. G H Pujar, the Chief Secretary of the Scouts and Guides was the guest of honour. Smt. Bhagirathi D Pawar the District Guide Commissioner and the Assistant teacher of Muncipal High School were also present on the occasion. The oath taking ceremony took place at 09:00 am by garlanding the photos of the founders of the Scouts and Guides, Robert Stephenson, Smith Baden Powell and Agnes Baden Powell. The Headmistress Sr Veronica presided over the function.
