Jan 25: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has celebrated the 7th National Voters' Day (NVD) on January 25, 2017 across country with the theme of “Empowering young and future events” to enhance participation of citizens in the electoral process.
The same was celebrated on the same day at Presentation Girls’ High School Dharwad with the objective of preparing the young girls of our school to empower them to to promote electoral participation. Shri R.V. Katti Thasildar of Dharwad organized the entire programme at our School. Shri. Mahesh Kajargi Assist Commissioner of Dharwad, was the chief guest of the porgramme it was inaugurated by Shri. Ibrahim Maigor in charge District commissioner of Dharwad and graced by Shri S.M. Hudedmani BEO of Dharwad City.
The students of our School spoke on the occasion and expressed their joy of becoming part of electoral process. The young girls took oath to participate in the voting process and cast their valuable votes. The Programme was presided over by Sr. Sally BS the Headmistress of Presentation Girls’ High School Dharwad.
