Jan 12: A Day for the Parents
A seminar was held on 12th Jan 2017 for the parents directed by the resource person, Rev. Fr Pius. The seminar was inaugurated seeking God’s blessings and lighting the lamp by Rev. Fr Pius, Headmistress, Sr Tina and parents. The aim of this seminar was to bring awareness in the parents on the topic “A rose bloom amidst thorns”. Fr Pius compared the present situation is the thorn and the rose to the child which was very much appreciated. Parents were given some dos and don’ts, like speaking negative about the child, labeling etc. “Enquire about the behavior of your child rather than the marks scored”, made the parents aware of their responsibilities. Solid steps were suggested to the parents to be a lamp in the life of their child so that their child is able to walk in the right path.
A Seminar for Teachers
“ಮುಗ್ದ ಮನಗಳ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳು ನೀವು” It was interesting when Rev. Fr Pius in his seminar for the teachers, elaborated this subject. The teachers were made aware of the various types of personalities among students, the problems they face and the present scenario. A teacher can make a day or break a day” – these words made the teachers to think seriously of their mission.
Live your Life to the Fullest - To the Students
Jan 13: Rev. Fr Pius in batches conducted seminar to students from V to VII. He emphasized the following:
a) You are unique, live as you are.
b) Give respect and take respect.
c) Do no to be cowards; face life as it comes.
The parents, teachers and students appreciated and thanked Rev. Fr Pius for such good talks and thanked Sr Tina Headmistress for organizing a praiseworthy programme.
