Nov 20: A colourful rainbow was formed in the campus of St Joseph's High School on 14th November 2017 as we celebrated Children's Day. The celebration began with a prayer service conducted by sisters & teachers. The Cabinet leaders lit the diya and paid tribute to the portrait of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, our former Prime Minister on whose birth day we celebrate the Children’s day in his honour. The teachers performed a colorful dance which was awesome.

There was also a song to wish the children on this auspicious day and a meaningful skit was put up which was a treat to watch and the children enjoyed themselves. The students responded with a thunderous applause appreciating the performance of the teachers.

Sr Betty the headmistress and Sr Simon the correspondent congratulated and applauded the efforts of the teachers. They thanked the lord for the gift of children especially the ones entrusted to their care in the school. The children through the vote of thanks expressed love and gratitude to the teachers and the management for organizing such a wonderful entertaining programme on their special day.

Special food was served to all the students to mark the celebration of children's day in the school. All had a pleasant time and it was indeed a unique and meaningful celebration.
