Jan 24: A day’s retreat was conducted for the students of VII Std on 19th January 2018. The resource person of the day was Fr Alwyn Prakash S.J. He is an eminent speaker, an orator, writer and an expert in many fields. He is engaged in research on many issues and is presented paper in National and International Conference.
He enlightened the students on LIFE and a precious gift, beautiful and important to each He spoke about the positive attitude of life and said that it’s not just enough to live one’s own life, but needs to protect and respect others life. He stressed on the importance on focus and motivation in one’s life and only motivated people are successful. He exalted the students to be optimistic and to face failure with courage.
He presented on PowerPoint a number of example of people who faced utter failure in life but had achieved great success liked Abraham Lincoln, Walt Disney and Thomas Edison. He said that “If you have never failed you have never lived.”
He concluded with the quote “Don’t put limits on what you can become… never lose hope, be positive.”
