Jan 27: St Joseph's High School, K R Nagar was filled with joy and happiness on 23 January 2018 on the auspicious occasion of celebrating Republic Day and the Annual Prize Distribution Day.
The programme was held in the School Auditorium, with the lightning of the diya and offering flowers to the portrait of Dr B R Ambedkar by our Chief Guest and Correspondent. Our students put up various programmes like prayer service, dance, skit etc depicting the importance of the day. The students of VIII B of the English section and those of the Kannada medium of standard IX under the guidance of Mrs Prashanthi and Mrs Vishalakshi put up items that were dedicated to our soldiers. The winners of various competitions held during the academic year, were awarded medals. The winners of Inter School competitions were honored with medals and certificates. A participant of a State Level competition from our school Ms Parthian Karanji was also awarded.
Sr Simon, the Correspondent spoke on the occasion and advised the 10th standard students to face the obstacles and difficulties in their studies, and work hard. Sr Betty, the Headmistress encouraged and congratulated the winners. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks.
