Jan 27: The 69th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur by Bethany Convent School, Tora Bargarh in the school premises on 26 January. Mr Narsingh Bishi, a retired Principal was the Chief Guest of the day. He hoisted the National Flag and spoke to the gathering about the importance of the Republic day and reiterated the importance of education and the role of teachers in moulding the young minds, preparing them to lead the country towards development. He also applauded the work of the School Management and teaching fraternity, emphasizing the need to develop strong moral values among children.
Short cultural programme as Patritoic Song, Skit and dance was performed by Class VI Students. The programme came to end at 9 am
