Feb 13: The students of St Maria Goretti’s School, Kolasib, Mizoram were given the privilege to participate in the Republic Day ceremonial parade with their outstanding performance with the pipe band. The students excelled in 7 months training by Mizoram Police IR Battalion. The school band gave display of its prowess in presence of a houseful gallery. They received a special word of appreciation and cash award `5,000/- from D.C of Kolasib as it was the only school selected for the same from the entire District.
