Feb 26: The much awaited Annual Sports Day of Presentation Girls’ HS, Dharwad was held on 21st Feb 2018. The day was filled with fervour and excitement. The day began with a prayer. Sr Sally BS, was the president of the function, senior most teacher Mrs Vinodini, was the chief guest, the Sports secretary Mr N N Bhat and Mrs Rosemary received a salute from our NCC contingent, Four Houses - Prajwal, Ujwal, Nirmal and Komal and our school cabinets. The march past was very impressive and it was a feast to our eyes.
The school ground was filled with sound of claps and cheers as the students of 8th 9th and 10th competed in the track events, shot put and long jump. Even though it was a hectic and tiresome day, every student was happy, full of smiles and excitement in the air as the Komal House (yellow house) emerged as "House Champions for the year 2017-2018".
The person behind every success of this esteemed institution is none other than our beloved Principal Sr Sally BS. She thanked all the teaching and non- teaching staff for their co-operation and support. She advised and congratulated the children to keep up their sportsman spirit. The winners were awarded with medals and certificates. The day went off well with a smile on everyone's faces.
