July 25: The Annual General Body Meeting of PTA for the year 2018-19 was held on 14th July 2018 at Sacred Hearts’ Hr Pry (Eng Med) School, Kulshekar, Presided by Rev Sr Mariola BS the President of PTA and Correspondent of the School. The Vice President Mr Roshan Lasrado, Secretary Rev Sr Lavita, Joint Secretary Ms Prabha Monteiro, Superior of the Santa Cruz Convent Rev Sr Rekha were present.
Parents should be the models to their children, they view and do likewise, said Rev Sr Mariola BS in her Presidential address. She also appreciated Sr Jessie Leena BS the retired and outgoing Headmistress of the school for her strenuous and selfless service rendered to the Management, schools, parents and the society. She was a good mentor to the students. Rev Sr Jessie Leena BS, who had served for 34 years in various Institutions was honoured for her meritorious service.
On this occasion 11 top scorers of STD VII for the year 2017-18 were honoured. The dedicated service of Mr Harold Mendonca and Mrs Gopy the security guards were appreciated and recognized.
Rev Fr Antony Prakash Monteiro, campus Director, St Philomena, Puttur the resource person interacted with the gathering on ‘Happy Parenting’. Mr Sanjyothi Sheka was unanimously elected as the new Vice-President for the academic year 2018-19.
