Sep 05: The Cluster level sports took place on 28th and 29th of August, 2018 in Arsikere. It was a thrilling experience to our students and honour to St Mary;s High School, Arsikere, as Boys, girls and individual (boys) became champions in the cluster level sports getting qualified to participate in Taluk level sports. 102 students participated in all the events of the sports except kabaddi. The Boys and Girls won the Volley ball – boys and girls, throw ball matches and selected for Taluk Level sports meet.
Among boys Maheswaran of class X won Individual championship winning in High Jump, Hammer throw and shot put, bringing laurels to the school.
In Athletics, boys won in events like Relay, Triple jump, 100, 200 mts and Long jump. Girls excelled in Athletics like 3000, 1500 and 800 mts race, Javelin throw, High Jump, Triple jump and Discuss throw.
It was a joy to celebrate the Championship won by our students and to encourage them to play for the Taluk Leve. We congratulate Mr Jayaraj, the P.E teacher of the school and all the staff for their hard work in training given to the students to excel.
