July 28: “Open Wide The Door Let Jesus Enter In” are the words that echoed in our hearts as we ‘Bethany Sisters’ at K.R. Nagar stepped into the opening of the centenary year of its foundation day on 16th July 2020. A 100 years are Marvelous works of the Lord. We marched in a procession singing Bethany Anthem and solemnly entered the Chapel. Sr. Molly Sharon, the Superior carried the jubilee candle that symbolized 100 years of life and mission of Bethany placed it on the Altar of God with an attitude of gratitude, a tribute of love to our beloved founder. Sr.Betty in her introduction welcomed the gathering and invited the assembly to thank God, for the gift of the Founder, who brought Bethany into being.
The Parish Priest, celebrant of the Eucharist highlighted God’s mighty deeds on Bethany, bearing abundant fruit in our consecrated life and apostolic service.
After the Holy Eucharist, Sr. Betty thanked the Parish Priest for officiating the Eucharist and prayers. Then Sr. Molly solemnly declared the Centenary year open and launched the Centenary logo in the presence of Parish Priest and Sisters.
