August 20: A journey of hundred years which began on July 16, 1921 by our beloved Father Founder Servant of God RFC Mascarenhas is celebrated in our institution with Zest, Zeal and happiness. To mark this great event a memorable one, various competitions were conducted on this occasion and prize winners were called to the school along with their parents for a short programme. Sr Flavia BS the Province Procurator of Mangalore Province Presided over the function. Being the lover of the Nature, Sister Flavia had herself sown the seeds of Lakshman phal in the Pots and 30 plants were grown by her. The winners were honored by distributing these plants. Headmistress Sr. Lavita in her opening message asked parents and students to take good care of the plants and it is the project work of the school that every year teachers will visit their house and enquire about the Plant. To send a photo of the plant once in 3 months and the follow up will be done next 3 years. She also urged the parents to look after the sapling well and produce many plants and make many more trees. May they grow, flower and bear fruit. Mrs. Laveena Menezes thanked the gathering, Sr Priya Prabha compered the programme.
