August 23: The Centenary of Bethany foundation was celebrated with aplomb in our school. The Headmistress Sr. Severine BS garlanded the statue of the Father Founder RFC Mascarenhas and lit the lamp symbolizing the celebration. It was followed by lighting of 100 lamps commemorating the 100 years of Bethany by the staff members. A Solemn and meaningful prayer service was conducted in the auditorium illumined by the 100 glowing lamps. The prayer service concluded with a graceful prayer dance by the staff members.
This was followed by a documentary showcasing the Founder’s Biography, the birth of the Bethany Congregation and BES with emphasis on the principles and Core Values of Bethany. The highlight of the documentary was the achievements of 100 glorious years of Bethany. The Headmistress Sr.Severine BS gave a message to the staff. The programme concluded with Bethany Anthem.
