Retirement is a time to experience a fulfilling life derived from many enjoyable and rewarding activities. Sr. Joyce Tauro (Sr. Winjoy BS) the former Headmistress of St. Joseph’s High School, Kankanady, Mangalore, was retired on 31-05-2020 after a long service of 30 years in the field of education. She had begun her carrier on 01-06-1990 in St. Raymond’s High School Vamanjoor as an assistant teacher. Later continued as an assistant teacher at Medeline High School, Mulki and Holy Family School at Bajpe. After that she worked as the Headmistress at Little Flower High School Kinnigoli, Sacred Heart High School Kulshekar, St. Raymond’s High School Vamanjoor and St. Joseph’s High School Kankanady.

Sr. Winjoy was source of inspiration and motivation. She was a strong pillar of the School, epitome of hard work, dedication, punctuality and discipline. Her enthusiasm and zeal for work is praiseworthy. She dedicated her entire life for the poor and marginalised children. Apart from curricular activities, she was involved herself in co-curricular activities like singing, music and so on. She had maintained a cordial relationship with teachers and students. The teachers also loved and respected her very much.

We wish her all her successes in her future endeavours. May Almighty Lord grant her good health enthusiasm and peace of mind to toil in the vineyard of Jesus.
