Loyola High School, Gadenahally, Hassan District was started in the year 04-07-1984. Sr Doreen BS was appointed as the first Headmistress in-Charge. This School is 17 Kilometres away from the city, Hassan. It is located in a village called Gadenahally where most of the people are agriculturists. It was the great thrust of our Founder, Fr RFC Mascarenhas to educate the village folk specially the girls, who were deprived of the education then. It is one of the institutions of Mother of Mercy convent campus. From its conception this institution is catering to the needs of the students from 12 villages, where 90% of the people are educated at present. 72 students from these villages are now serving the country by joining the Indian Army. Almost every student studied in this institution is holding a good position in the society. At present the high is doing well in giving its yeomen service to the locality.
