Loyola Primary School was started in Gadenahally in the year 2013-14. In the year 2016-17 the school name was changed as St Ignatius English Medium Primary and High School and the permission was granted from the government to have English as the medium of instruction. At present St Ignatius English Medium Primary and High School does not have its own building. A few classes are conducted in the College building and others in the St Ignatius Kannada Medium Primary School.
There are 80 students in the Nursery, 215 students in the Primary and 16 students in the IX Std. They come almost from 30 villages around Gadenahally. There is a bus facility to pick up and drop students safely. The qualified and dedicated teachers leave no stone unturned in the fulfillment of their duties. Sr Trina is the Headmistress of the school.
